Just upgraded all three of my main servers to the 6.18 kernel. Memory usage dropped significantly on all of them immediately after the upgrade.

Nothing else changed and nothing looks obviously misconfigured. Did 6.18 introduce any changes to memory management, accounting, or reclamation that would explain this behavior?
